Ready to set the world on fire…if only you weren’t dead tired, your socks weren’t feeling itchy or your back didn’t ache? Yeah that. All those reasons we walk around feeling less amazing than we are.
The truth is you are amazing and you are capable of doing amazing things – if only you could ditch the daily stuff that holds you back. Now it’s time to get your mojo going and really FEEL how awesome you are in that deep down place where you can do anything.
Think about those moments when you feel powerful, in charge, amazing, unstoppable. What were you doing when it happened? What were you thinking about? Who was around you? What triggered that feeling?
Now remember that feeling of awesomeness. Where did it sit in your body? Was it a bubbly feeling that started in your stomach or like a lightning bolt up from your toes? Did you feel light like you could fly or strong and powerful?
Does reading about that feeling make you feel just a little bit giddy? Like you can feel it coming back? Like you have the power to trigger your own amazing? It should because you do. And like Dorothy discovered, the power to go there was always in you.
How to Spark Your Own Awesomeness
No one experiences their awesomeness in the same way and the secret to living in that feeling is figuring out what that place feels like for you and working back to how you got there.
A few ideas to get you started…
Surround your inspiration space with visual reminders – Pick objects that truly represent your bliss. Don’t think of this as a set it and forget it project. Continue to build on it, adding new objects to keep your spark fresh.
Build a morning routine that makes your soul sing – Start your day with getting your groove on. If that’s a long hot shower with full-on karaoke action, go for it. Myself, I enjoy a little morning self-care.
Connect with people who energize you – Seek out those one or two very special individuals who bring out the absolute best in you. Even if you can’t connect with them on a daily basis, find ways to stay tied to their energy.
Do something that you rock at – Use your success to create more success energy. So often we get dragged down by the ‘other stuff’ that we have to do that we forget to spend time doing what we do best.
Close your eyes and remember the feeling – Imagine you are already in that place where you feel at your most amazing. Visualize that energy flowing through you and hold it in your body until it becomes unshakeable.
