Do you have a tough time getting in the mood to exercise?
Then GIMME TEN.
Instead of focusing on the hassle, the pain or the sweaty mess associated with exercise, CREATE MOMENTUM by knowing that 10 minutes of movement means:
• a better night’s sleep
• more satisfying sex
• less stress
• increased mental focus & clarity
• age-defying longevity
• better body confidence
When you commit to any kind of physical activity for just 10 minutes, momentum builds like crazy to continue everyday because the body loves:
• the “feel good” endorphin rush
• the increased oxygen to your brain
• Increase circulation & blood flow
• Release stress and tension
• the engaged mind/body connection
• the fat burn for a sleek and toned look
Not convinced that 10 minutes of a total-body exercise circuit will do the trick? Slip your shoes off, put on your favorite music and take action with this quick 10 minute home-office workout…
I’ll let you in on a little something…I made up Gimme Ten for myself. Although I know the benefits of exercise, sometimes I don’t want to work out either. I put a hot pink sticky note on the door of my studio that says “Gimme Ten.” It always works for me, without fail. It works for my clients, and it will work for you too.
Remember “Gimme Ten” for creating momentum to enhance your lifestyle when you:
- Just want to stay in bed.
- Think you don’t have time.
- Just want to come home from work and put your feet up.
- Can think of 10 billion things to do other than exercise.
Let the momentum build, get motivated and do something for yourself for just 10 minutes…you’ll be so glad you did!

that's what it's aaaaallll about Carla! Everyone has 10-minutes to put themselves first … especially when you don't even have to leave your home office =)
Suzie, thanks for this. As someone who has worked at home for many years, I find once I get going in the morning, it's hard to take a break for a workout. And, after years of living in a climate where I can take a beach walk at lunch time, I find myself spending a winter in the midwest where it's a gym (yuch) or no exercise. But ten minutes, in the office, we can all do that. We take that long just to grab a snack, right? You're giving work at home girls like me a quick, easy no excuse way to get that workout into our day. Can't wait to see what else you have.
All right. I'm still breathing hard and this is my new favorite blog post! Thank you so much. Ugh, that darned brain fog was just making me groggy and this was JUST WHAT I NEEDED. Great girlfriend support too. Woo hoo!
Love it! This is awesome. Making this a daily routine as of now. Thanks so much for sharing.
Love this video Susie! I'm 'fast-blasting' right now–lol. Only the cats to see me this time of day, so I can really get into it 🙂
Great post, Susie! I love the Gimme 10 idea. With three kids, a thriving business, a puppy and a husband who travels all week, sometimes 10 minutes is all I have. It's also so important to share the importance of taking time for movement with children. In Character Clubs, we always take a break to shake our sillies out. It's amazing how the kids' focus improves.
As a lady who's been doing Susie's 10min workouts for the past couple of weeks, I can tell you that they not only ROCK, but they really WORK! Yay, Susie…looking forward to having you motivate me through another workout this afternoon 🙂
Love ya Susie and love your fun videos! I love that I don't even have to leave my home office for this workout. Even though I enjoy my me time at the health club I can't get there every day. So this is perfect. I actually just started working out again in the last couple of months and have so much more energy. Thanks Susie you make working out fun!

woo-HOO! I feel so energized! I think I need a bit of Susie workout mojo everyday!
Oh..Susie you got my buns moving today!! I think this is amazing 😉
Great Stuff Susie! I am a home based Team Performance Coach and I find being at my computer for long periods of time draining. I am incorporating my challenge for better health into my 10 minute energizer. At least once a day I take 10 minutes to stretch. Specifically my hip flexers for all of you how sit most of your day; when they tighten up it affects my lower back. A good 10 minute stretch with some deep breathing really gets my blood flowing and frees up my thoughts and creativity. Usually the hour or so I spend after that stretch is most productive….and I keep my body healthy too!

As always, Susie has the greatest fitness and exercise ideas for the busy mom/entrepreneur. I have always said something is better than nothing, but I thought that was just me BSing myself. Hearing about this Gimme Ten gives me confirmation that I am correct. Some exercise in a day is better than none. I'm going to get back to doing something even if it's only 10 minutes a day. Thanks for letting me know I don't have to kill myself to do good for my body. You rock sister!
