Creating Irresistible Presence mom entrepreneur Sarah Robinson shares her top picks for her Android phone!
Twicca – My twitter app of choice after trying a bunch! Simple, easy interface lets me stay connected to my twitamigos, my tribe and my BFF’s with no muss and no fuss.
Bubble Burst Light – When I have a little time to kill and need something completely mindless, this game fits the bill.
Dinner At My Place – What do you do when you find yourself at the store and don’t know what to make for dinner? Fire up Dinner At My Place, choose a recipe and it spits out the shopping list while you are standing there. LOVE it.
Easy Tether – One of the things I totally resented about my Droid Eris was that I could not tether it to my computer to access the internet. Until I found Easy Tether. It is totally worth the one-time ten bucks to be able to get the internet when I need it.
Google Sky Map – Aim your phone at the night sky and get a star chart of the sky. I know it’s not for business, but the “wow” factor makes it not-to-be-missed.
Ringdroid – Tired of confusing your ringing phone with everyone else’s? Use this handy app to make a ringtone that is distinct so you know it’s yours when it’s ringing. My ringtone of choice: a clip from the Doofenschmirtz Evil Incorporated jingle – it makes me smile every time.
Pro Zoom Camera 5x – Replaces the default camera app on the droid with something that takes MUCH better pictures. So the next time you are at your child’s field trip and you forgot your camera, the Pro Zoom Camera 5x will do the trick. Handy for uploading business pics to Twitter and Facebook too.
TSCamcorder – A far superior replacement for the default video app on your phone so you can catch that impromptu concert or shoot an on the fly video for your blog.
Key Ring – Hate hauling all those loyalty cards around in your wallet or on your key ring? Me too. Thanks to Key Ring now they are all scanned and at my fingertips whenever I need them.
Lookout – A must have for three reasons: 1) Scans everything you download to make sure you don’t get a virus 2) Backs up all your data regularly and 3) You can locate your device or make it scream once you are registered.
