“Definitely HOUSEKEEPER… with 4 kids, a husband and two dogs and a home based business, I can’t keep up somedays I don’t know where my floor went, not sure if the toys ate it up or the dirty clothes!”
Bobbie Dudenhoeffer (www.freedomlane3.myshaklee.com)
“Personal Chef all the way! One of my biggest struggles day to day is when asked “What’s for supper?” Plus the Nutritional value of the food as well as the money saved eating in is huge! My kids are old enough that they don’t need constant supervision and they can help clean up around the house…a personal chef would be a dream come true.”
Kerrie Reeves Jay (http://www.lifesweetenedphotography.com)
“I would choose a Nanny. I constantly feel bad when I am editing during the day on the computer and the kids are home. I’d love to have some extra hands to entertain them during the day, when I have to be busy.”
Kristi Wozniak (www.keylimecanada.com)
“The right answer? A house keeper, so I can spend more time with my children. Honestly I would love a Nanny, she could balance the time I need to spend at my store, on myself (gym, shopping, etc) and with my children. She would also give me the opportunity to spend some one on one time with each of my children. Thanks!”

“I would want a personal chef as coming up with good and healthy meals for my sports active family is extremely hard for me every day is a struggle to come up.”
Sabrina Rhodes (www.sabrinarhodes.myarbonne.ca)
“Housekeeper hands down. My growing babies need me more than my floors do.”
Danna Bowes Treadwell (www.babyart.ca)
“Housekeeper! I love to cook and I run my business around my kids schedules so they don’t have to be in any one else’s care for more than 1.5 days a week. Cleaning the house takes time away from everything else, so I would love to take that off my daily list of things to do.”
Melissa ‘Smith’ Vroon (www.familyfuncalgary.com)
“Definitely a personal chef. A personal chef would do the grocery shopping, ensure we had a nice meal on time every day and it would be healthy. The chef would also clean up after the meals of course so three chores in one completed. I find the time right before dinner the worst with my kids and I would rather have someone cook the meal while I have them outside playing until dinner is ready. Ahh I can only dream…”
Sarah Deveau (www.stelladot.com/sites/sarahdeveau)
“Nanny! We used to have the most fabulous nanny. She did all the housecleaning and kids’ meals, so it was three in one! And she became a good friend in the process.”
Angela Hancock-Madeiros (www.angelasattic.ca)
“A personal chef would decrease my stress hugely. I own a store and I am currently launching an eco luxury skin cream line and coming home at 5:30 to 2 hungry boys and a husband who can’t cook stresses me out. I have tried to menu plan but …I fall off the wagon all the time. A personal chef who creates low fat, high energy meals would change my life.”
Kelly Mckay Szott (www.TimelessSnapshots.com)
“Personal Chef! I despise meal planning & trying to figure out different meals so we don’t eat the same thing every day. Pair that with also trying to eat healthy & organic, etc., blah blah blah. It’s so frustrating and it’s a daily thing…. I almost said Nanny because of being a WAHM, but personal chef was my gut reaction so I am sticking with it.”
Kay Protheroe (www.seatoskyfair.vpweb.ca)
“I would have a housekeeper, feeding and caring for my family is a joy in good times and bad I fail to find the joy in cleaning the bathroom.”
Heather Lopez (www.supermompreneur.com)
“Housekeeper! My husband is such a neat freak, he literally looks between cracks and even moves the fridge. If I had someone cleaning, he would give me more time to do my business later in the day and I could spend more time with the kids…”
Tara Geissinger (www.onlineprnews.com)
“Personal chef hands down! I love spending time with my kids and can keep up with the house, but planning for meals and shopping for meals and cooking the meals completely bums me out. I would LOVE to go vegetarian with the help of a personal chef!”
Lisa Ostrikoff (www.BizBOXTV.com)
“Definitely the housekeeper! A clean and uncluttered environment allows everything else to flow… I love spending time with my daughter & do enjoy cooking, so someone helping with the cleaning would totally eliminate the tasks that aren’t on my ‘fun’ list.”

I married the personal chef, so I’d go with housekeeper. It would make things more like living in a hotel! The kids visit on their school holidays, and they’re teenagers now so no need for a nanny anymore.
Well, I am a private chef, housekeeper, personal assistant, nanny allll rolled up in one for a family with 1 child (10 months old). My question to you moms out there is how do you value such a person? I feel a bit underpaid but have nothing to base it on. I like my job but want to be informed about what such a person is worth in the marketplace. Any advice? Oh yeah, I also do some gardening for them too!
Sincerely, the Natural Gourmet
