Carla Ciccone’s first story was a novella entitled “The Dreamer,” written she was 9 years old. Although she can no longer recall the specifics of the piece, she still believes in its message – to strive towards the fulfillment of great dreams. She has written articles for many North American publications and is currently finishing her first screenplay. After having children, Lesli decided recipes needed to be simple, quick and tasty in order to earn a place in her kitchen. A graduate of journalism and a freelance writer, she has been published in the Calgary Herald, Calgary’s Child and online.
